Dans un édifice du XIXe siècle qui a conservé ses murs de pierres d'origine, BEVO Bar + Pizzeria propose une cuisine traditionnelle italienne. La pizza authentique cuite au four à bois et les charcuteries fraîches figurent parmi les spécialités de la maison. À la riche carte des vins s'ajoute un choix de cocktails originaux. Le décor chaleureux et actuel - somptueux luminaires, long bar design, escalier rustique - évoque l'ambiance invitante d'un pub urbain. Du jeudi au samedi, un DJ assure l'animation musicale jusqu'à 2 h du matin. L'été, une terrasse couverte donne sur la rue piétonnière Saint-Vincent. Went there to wat...

Went there to watch the hockey game (not an official sports bar but they have a lot of TVs) and it was nice ambiance. They have the DJ on while you watch the game and it's fun.

BEVO's interior is a hodgepodge of styles. Old meets new in this spacious two-storey restaurant that features a multitude of seating arrangements, from regular and bar-height tables to suspended pod chairs. The menu is broken down into four sections: antipasti, primi, secondi and pizze. We decided to sample one item from each of those, which worked out really well. We went with the Calamari Fritti (so-so), Fazzoletti con Ricotta (a hit), Poutine di Vitello Brasato (a hit), and Saccense Pizza (a hit). Service tonight was excellent in general; we were well attended to and weren't left in need of anything. After tonight and a prior visit in the summer, we can safely say that BEVO is not all about location or trendiness. It is actually a decent "food" destination.

Excellent Food and atmosphere...

Excellent Food and atmosphere in the heart of Old Town Montreal. Wonderful atmosphere and excellent food. The portions were huge and the food was fantastic. Wine is expensive but the staff was very professional and eager to please.

So good for the price at lunch

For the lunch menu they have 4-6 choices in the price range of 10-11.95. include the soup and the dessert, also special price for the beer and wine at lunch. the soup was amazing for an include one, the valamari was served with rice and just cooked like it suppose to (not chewy, not too cooked) and a nice and smiley service

I love their pasta here, it was cooked to...

I love their pasta here, it was cooked to perfection! I usually only eat creamy sauces, but I ordered a tomato sauce this time and I loved it. It wasn't like other red sauces where it's heavy and thick, it was very light but full of flavour. Very clean and fresh tasting. The calamari was delicious, the chicken was just ok. I would definitely go back to have their pasta. Great atmosphere too!
