They have finally expanded this restaurant, the downfall however, was that they had to hire extra waite staff and they did a poor job in that department. The young ladies that are your first impression lack experience and therefore do not provide a good first impression....or second or third for that matter. This is unforfunate because pre renovations this place always had a crowd of people waiting.
btw, the food is really good.
The food was great, but do not expect great service while you are there or else you will be disappointed. We still like Pad Thai from the mall food court better.
Worst dining out experience I've ever had; the service was slow and the food was tasteless. After deciding to NOT finish our meal we went up to the counter to pay, only to be horrified by the staff. While wrapping the cutlery in napkins to put out on the plates they commented, and I quote "Oh man, this plate is dirty, *laughs* not as dirty as this one though!" They then carried them to a table with people waiting to be seated. Then the waitress' cell phone started to ring and she pulled it from inside her shirt then touched more cutlery to be taken to the tables. WORST RESTAURANT EVER!
First time visit.. had heard good things previously. Food was excellent.. not used to this quality of thai food in Durham.. reminds me of what you can get in downtown Toronto. Service was efficient. Restaurant will become too small quickly and the decor could be a little less sterile but nothing that would deter me from returning. Take out service would be great..
