This was my first time dining at a Korean restaurant so I was super excited. The place seemed very cozy. I loved the booths and their little curtains. We came here because it is my boyfriend's favourite Korean restaurant. I was very happy with our meal! I love noodles so I got ramyun, which isn't a special or difficult dish but I enjoyed it. The food came out very quickly and at a good temperature. My boyfriend loves their potato appetizer and I adore their sweet peanuts. We also got bulgogi, which was amazing! The portion was large, more than enough for the two of us and there was the perfect amount of sauce. The ladies who work there are nice and efficient as well. My first impression of Korean food was a positive one and I hoped to visit again. On my second time there, we ordered the combo my boyfriend raved about: soup, spicy diced chicken, 5 bottles of beer for $18 and dukboki (a dish I had been wanting to try). Again, the service was fast and the food was hot and tasted amazing. We ordered much more than we could finish so we happily took most of the meal home. I wish I could make a trip back here sooner! My sister and I went for lunch while in the area and I am so glad I read the reviews here and decided on this place. There was an amazing aroma when we stepped in and all the patrons were asians ( always a good sign in an asian restaurant!). The menu had only a handful of choices which saved me dithering over what to get. I had the seafood option and my sister had the bbq, sorry I can't remember the exact names. They came with sides of kimchi, bean sprouts and soy beans. It was a wonderful meal and both of us enjoyed it. Lire plus

my friends and I were looking for a Korean restaurant with fresh taste and clean atmosphere and Steeles Seoul House definitely delivered our wants! The food was really good and the staff was really friendly too! I've been to this restaurant more times than I can count. Besides the food being excellent and very inexpensive, the restaurant itself is clean and comfortable. Service is always good and really fast so even if there is a line-up, it moves quickly. The soups are what they are known for and they are a meal and a half for $5.00! I've been to many Vietnamese restaurants and this one is consistently one of my favourites.It's the perfect place to enjoy a steamy bowl of filling soup with meat, dumplings and noodles on a cold winter night. I've probably been here 3 or 4 times now. I keep coming back because the service is so good! Not to mention the food is fantastic (the complimentary crunchy soup is to die for). The last time I went, my table got the spider roll, seaweed salad, green dragon roll, spicy salmon roll, and some other roll (I can't remember the name). They were delicious! All was served in a sequential manner; we were served complimentary soup immediately as we sat down, then we ordered, after which we were served complimentary green salad while we waited for our rolls. We were never without food! With all that's included with the rolls, the value is really great. Although it's not too impressive from the outside, the inside is pretty good. It's not fancy, but very laid back. I took my grandmother here for her first sushi experience, and she loved it. I had such good service today, that I had to give these guys some publicity! I am a patron using a disbility device and while the restaurant is not "accessible" perse they do their best to make you feel comfortable. Now aside from that, I've been visiting this restaurant for roughly 20 years. My Mother and I found it a long time ago looking for a good Japanese restaurant that wasn't all the way downtown. The have great sushi, sashimi, tempura, teriyaki, soups & my favourite Japanese style salad! Decor could use an update but it's clean and comfortable. There's a hidden entry from parking behind the restaurant or the double doorway at the front. Last night I decided to eat in for the first time since becoming differently abled so to speak. I had the Legend Boston roll with crab, Japanese mayonaise and salmon topper. It was very rich so I suggest if you try this do it with several people so everyone can have a taste, it was lovely but too rich for just one person to demolish. I had the shrimp tempura dinner which has tempura vegetables with it. Last night the tiger shrimp were lovely and fresh and the mix of vegetable composed of squash, sweet potato, onion and broccoli were very yummy. They make amazing tempura sauce. The meal comes with salad, miso soup, rice and huge plate of tempura so again great for sharing! I took home a cucumber roll for my son but seriously considered their toonie Tuesday offer which is a California roll, max of 2 given the offer, but my son is new to Japanese os a simple cucumber roll. I have plenty left over for lunch and am hoping the tempura will crisp up under the broiler today! Thanks to A.J. & staff for making it a lovely experience with my needs ;o) Lire plus

Ohh goodness me, the Ja Jang Myeon (wheat noodles with black soybean paste) is HEAVENLY! After watching sooo many Korean Dramas and seeing all the actors/actresses eating this dish, I was finally able to taste it for myself and it was the most delicious bowl of noodles I have ever eaten! With such a unique taste and texture I basically gobbled and slurped my way down to the very last noodle. With the restaurant having such a family-oriented business feeling to it, it really felt like I was enjoying a home-cooked Korean meal. Fantastic! Lire plus

I hosted my birthday party this past April at Casa Manila (group of 30!) I was esctastic to discover that they hosted a Sunday brunch buffet with their top menu selections. Mila was my contact and she was AMAZING. Food was absolutely delicious! I had several guests with a diverse array of dietary restrictions (including vegetarian and no pork).
