Our Dentists

Dr. Jun Jang

General Dentist

Dr. Jang moved to Canada when he was 9 years old from Korea and has lived in Edmonton ever since. After graduating from Strathcona High School, he went to University of Alberta to pursue and received a double major in Bachelor of Science & Psychology followed by Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Jang is excited to serve his community and enjoys all aspects of dentistry with the goal of bettering quality of life for his patients. His passion is to educate patients and has actively volunteered in charities and underserved communities during school.

When not in the office you can find Dr. Jang participating in a variety of activities including golf, skiing, and hiking. Any chance he can get he is off on a plane somewhere around the world indulging in cultural experiences. To relax he enjoys hanging out at home with his cats Mili and Puff whom he adopted from a local rescue.

Dr. Kim Farrell

General Dentist

Kim was born and raised in Edmonton. After graduating from McNally High School, she attended the University of Alberta and attained her D.D.S degree in 2002.

Since then she has been an associate here at Riverbend Family Dental Care.

In her spare time, Kim enjoys being outdoors, spending time at the lake, walking her dogs, wood working and reading.
Dr. Bomi Kwon

General Dentist

Dr. Kwon graduated from the University of Alberta with a Doctor of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Medical Science degrees. During her training, she received academic and clinical awards for excellence in restorative dentistry. Dr. Kwon is committed to providing comprehensive patient-centred care, and she strives to care for her patients with quality dental treatment. She has a passion for preventative and aesthetic dentistry, and she is pursuing ongoing studies.

Dr. Kwon has been volunteering at The Boyle McCauley Health Centre to provide dental care to inner-city children and Kindness in Action dental mission trip in Peru.

Dr. Bomi Kwon was born in Seoul, South Korea, and grew up in Vancouver and Toronto. Bomi and her husband have called Edmonton home since 2011. In her spare time, you can find Bomi hiking and biking in the mountains. She also enjoys painting, baking, and walking her dog, Itchy.

Dr. Kwon practices all aspects of general dentistry and is accepting new patients.
