The people who run this restaurant are always so friendly! To top that off, the food is great. I really enjoy their palak paneer especially.
They're also great with accomodating tastes. I like my food spicy, while my other family members are not so keen on it. When I order spice levels all over the map, it's never screwed up. Always perfect for each person.
The flavours are great and I always look forward to a treat here when we have the time.

A takeaway goat roti is $9. I do not understand how anyone put $60 per person. If you are eating in, the lunch special of say boneless chicken and a pop, is going to run you about the same. If I eat in at lunch I usually get a boneless chicken roti and a pop and a double and a pop. About $11 plus the tip for excellent service.
This is my absolute favourite restaurant. I can agree that the location is not awesome but the food is wonderfully delicious. And plentiful.

Great Indian Food! Best in GTA! Been going to Mount Everest for over 15 years! Have tried other Indian Restaurants but none can compare! Service is good and prices reasonable. I cannot praise Mr. Singh enough for his dedication in creating quality indian dishes. Butter Chicken is the best! Love the Naan bread and Samosas. Great vegetarian dishes too! We love curry and eat at the Mount Everest on a regular basis. I would highly recommend this Indian Restaurant! Ann

Rasoee serves good food - The butter chicken is really nice, the naan bread is fresh - and the tamarind dipping sause for the samosas is great - My one concern? The best Indian restaurant in Toronto. The only restaurant on Gerrard with a constant line up (and think how many restaurants there are). A great buffet, always being replenished. Great variety of flavours and presentations. The bread is out of this world. If you order from the menu, the selection is even better. Every dish cooked fresh, and they will adjust the heat to your liking. Very attentive and polite servers. A beautifully decorated room. Do yourself a favour - go to Sidhartha tonight.
