Ok so Sauga is full of great places, and Axia is one of those great places we always meet friends at when we're in the region. The sushi here is quality and consistent. You can tell right away that they use a higher grade of fish than some of the local AYCE (all-you-can-eat) places. The Dragon rolls and spicy rolls are pretty much different than any other place I've been to which keeps me coming back. The wifey doesn't like sushi, so she likes to stick with the Chinese and Thai food which she absolutely loves. The look and feel is nice, sort of like an outdoorsy theme. Service was friendly and fast and the bill is reasonable for a place like this. Anyways, give Axia a try, it's one of those places that'll keep you coming back for more. Lire plus

This is my family's come to place for Thai and Chinese food. We usually order take-out due to time constraints, but we have dined in once or twice and service was fast. When we do take-out, we order Thai dinner for 4 or Chinese dinner for 5. The two are about the same price, but the Chinese dinner is what we love because you get a lot of food for a good price. Pho Dau Bo is probably the only Vietnamese restaurant in Bram-Bram that does not trace its history to the original Pho Peter (my favourite) in some way. This eatery is part of a small chain covering Golden Horseshoe that opened way back in 1996. The Brampton location is a relatively new one having opened in 2006 but going strong. The food here is good, very good. The portions are generous, unless you haven't eaten for a month or have the metabolism of a cheetah, this is a meal in a bowl. The waitresses are courteous. No attitude here. When asked for extra ganish it was brought promptly and with a smile, unlike the downtown Toronto eateries where I was given the impression that they had to fight an ill-tempered chef for it and, even after winning the battle, it came out of their paycheques. The pho is hot and tasty, the way it should be. The garnishes are fresh, not brown and wilted like something ready for the compost pile. The meat is lean and there is lots of it. All in all, pho worth writing to the rellies about. For a Vietnamese restaurant the decor/atmosphere is fine. Don't expect a fancy place but do expect good food. After a couple of visits, this place is definitely threatening to unseat my fave. Lire plus

Arrayed on top of the noodles in orderly rows are the pork, shrimp and a darkly crisp spring roll, along with strips of vinegared carrot and daikon, shredded cucumber, fresh mint leaves and bean sprouts. Nuoc cham sauce arrives on the side in a pretty little star shaped ramekin. The aroma of the grilled pork tantalizes. It has been sliced thin to maximize the crispy charred exterior, while still being pleasantly fatty and tender. The spring roll is perfectly fried and filled with a dense mixture of delicately chopped meat and vegetable. BEST PHO IN ALL OF TORONTO! Their beef noodle broth is just stupendous! It doesn't contain as much fat and oil as you would expect from other restaurants which is really good! This is probably the only pho restaurant i would recommend to anybody. Though the atmosphere is not like a 5 star restuarant, the food sure makes up for it. Peach Garden is a rapidly growing chain of Vietnamese/Thai restaurants. The menu is huge with many choices from both cuisines. So far I've tried only the Vietnamese side of the menu but if that is any indication of the quality of the Thai food I can hardly wait. My favourite Vietnamese dish is the pho with 3 types of grilled meat. The meat is beef, pork and chicken. Being done on the gril makes for a nice change from the usual beef pho. The soup is served steaming hot with the meat on a separate plate accompanied by lots of fresh garnishes. For the chilliheads agmonst us, red chillies are served up with a smile. The other Vietnamese dishes are as good, which puts me in a quandry over which is my favourite pho facility. (Number one in Brampton is Pho Peter on Kennedy). The decor is a bit better than most Vietnamese eateries and along with good service makes for a very pleasant dining experience. Highly recommmended. Lire plus
